Graveside service for Margaret Julia Harrist, 95, formerly of Lawton, will be 10:00 am Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. James P. Holley, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, officiating. Mrs. Harrist died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. Burial Will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Harrist was born June 10, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Mary (Glosg) Ruff. She married Joe Henry Harrist on August 10, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. He died June 29, 1987. She was a mother and military wife. She was also employed as a bookkeeper for Gosilin Bookkeeping Service and Ramon's Flowers and Gifts. She had been a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Debra Harrist , Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Harrist, five brothers and two sisters.
