Memorial service for Margaret Carr will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Gillaspy officiating.

Margaret Carr, age 97, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Burkburnett, Texas.  She was born December 30, 1925 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Connie Lee and Myrtle May (Shoopman) Hill.  Mrs. Carr worked as a bookkeeper and was also a successful business owner of The Wig Boutique and Beauty Salon in Lawton.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie Jean and Johnny Kinder, Lawton, five grandchildren, John Jay Kinder, Kristien Gillaspy, Brandi Flaks, Brandon Gilson and James Gilson, twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Francis J. Carr, son, Jerry Burl Gilson and brother, Connie Hill, Jr.
