Marcy Lynn Edwards Davis, 68, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1957, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lanny and Beverly Edwards. She entered the world alongside her twin sibling.

Growing up, Marcy took dance classes and was the head cheerleader in junior high. She later served on the Pom Pom squad at Eisenhower High School, where she graduated in 1976.

After graduation, Marcy began her banking career at City National Bank as a teller. Through her dedication and hard work, she advanced throughout her career, eventually serving as Vice President at American National Bank in downtown Lawton. She retired from banking in 1997 after many years of faithful service.

Following her retirement from banking, Marcy continued to stay active and involved in her community and family life. She went to work for the family's businesses, American Truck Driving School, Lawton Speedway, and the Chili Bowl Nationals, where she enjoyed staying busy and being close to the people she loved. She also loved watching every dirt track race she could, playing the slot machines in Las Vegas, shopping, and spending hours talking on the phone with friends and family.

Marcy was the proud mother of one son, Kyle Ezell. Becoming "Mimi" to Parker and Hadley was one of her greatest joys, and they were truly the lights of her life.

Marcy was preceded in death by her parents, Lanny and Beverly Edwards, and her great-nephew, Slate Doughty.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Ezell and wife, Rachel, of Elgin, Oklahoma; her cherished grandchildren, Parker Ezell and Hadley Ezell; her twin brother, Monty Edwards and wife, Kelly, of Lawton, Oklahoma; her brother, Lanny Ross and Pam Harrison of Mesquite, Texas; her niece, Ashlie Nader and husband, Christopher, of Edmond, Oklahoma; her nephew, Brandon Edwards and wife, Patty, of Lawton, Oklahoma; her niece, Kay Bloomquist of Cache, Oklahoma; her nephew, Martin Edwards and wife, Amanda, of Forney, Texas; her niece, Allyson Doughty and husband, Taylor, of Forney, Texas; and many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews: Mason Nader, Kailey Nader, Kasey Bloomquist, Kinser Bloomquist, Jordan Edwards, Clay Edwards, Eston Edwards, Lawson Edwards, Davie Edwards, Schaefer Doughty, and McKinley Doughty, who is expected to arrive soon.

She is also survived by her dear friends, Ruth Ann Herring and Donna Edwards.

Marcy's life was defined not by the years she lived, but by the love she gave. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, unwavering devotion to her family, cherished friendships, and a lifelong passion for dirt track racing. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
