Makiko Wilson, 85, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her home in Lawton. She was born on December 1, 1932 in Pong Yong, South Korea to Yutaka and Yoshino Takeishi.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

She married James R. Wilson in Tokyo, Japan on June 14, 1954 and was married for 53 years before James' passing on February 3, 2008. In addition to raising three children Makiko was a Red Cross volunteer at Fort Sill, Oklahoma for many years. She was an excellent seamstress and could repair almost any broken item you handed her. She will be missed.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Monteilh, James L. Wilson and Ruth Vechionne and grandchildren.

At Mrs. Wilson's request there will not be a service.
