Graveside service for Magdelyn Joyce (Klein) Applegate will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill with Dr. Greg Baxter, Chaplain for Promise Care Hospice officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Magdelyn Joyce (Klein) Applegate, age 90, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at her home.  She was born September 18, 1932 in Harper, Iowa to Alva Lou and Adelyn May (Ditzler) Klein.  She married Richard Myall Applegate on October 29, 1951 in Iowa City, Iowa.  He died December 1, 2009.  Mrs. Applegate was a longtime Lawton resident.

Survivors include her daughter, Joy Applegate Yeats, five grandchildren, Amber Hoffman, Erika Hoffman, Amanda Eileen Mansell, Sarah Elizabeth Powers and Kate Lyn Applegate, two great grandchildren, Madison Hensley and Jacob Hensley and two brothers, Richard E. Klein and Terry L. Klein.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard Myall Applegate and daughter, Vicky L. Applegate.
