Age 93, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Becker Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vivian Garza officiating. Mrs. Caraway died Sunday in Lawton. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born November 24, 1916 in Verden, Oklahoma, to Robert Daniel and Flossie Mae (Medlin) Ryans. She moved to California as a young woman and while in California worked as a waitress and later owned and operated a restaurant. She married Ivan L. Caraway in September of 1970 in Lawton. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2002. She returned to Lawton in 1984 and worked as a packer with Lawton Moving and Storage until her retirement at the age of 75. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Alyne Colvin, Cache, R.D. Ryans, Jr., Lawton, Bobby Ryans, Lawton, Evelyn Blevins, Lawton, Deloris Sampley, Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Ryans, Lawton; numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, five brothers, Bernie, Verlin, Eugene, Everett and Donnie, and three sisters, Hazel, Jewel and Lois, preceded her in death.
