Funeral service for Lydia M. Warrell, 85, Lawton will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Dawson, Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Lawton officiating. Mrs. Warrell died Saturday in a Lawton care center. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill un der the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will greet friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 5pm until 7pm. ********** She was born September 6, 1925 in Nurnberg, Germany to Johann and Martha Schmidt. She met Corporal Richard A. Warrell in 1948 in Nurnberg. They were married June 16, 1950. He died in 1966. She, her husband and family moved from Boeblingen, Germany to Lawton, Oklahoma in February of 1964. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her three children, Richard J. Warrell and Robbie L. of Flower Mound, TX, Robert G. Warrell and Laura of Mustang, OK, Randall A. Warrell of Lawton, two grandchildren, Kaye L. Martin of Mabank, TX, Sarah Ann Riffle of Oklahoma City, OK, and two great grandchildren, Taylor Martin of Mabank, TX and Bryce Matthew Riffle of Oklahoma City, OK.
