Age 78, San Jose, California - Services will be 1:30 PM Friday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles King, pastor of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Mangum died Thursday, May 28, 2009 in San Jose. Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born October 10, 1930 in Oklahoma to Albert William and Esther (Allen) Drew. She married SSG (Retired) Andy C. Mangum on December 23, 1951 in New Boston, Texas. He died November 10, 1975. She had been a member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Andaleen Whitney and her husband Frank, San Jose, a grandson, Johnny Mangum and his wife Amy and three great grandsons all of New York, a sister, Alberta Brooks, San Jose, two brothers and their spouses, Ralph and Betty Allen, Queen City, Texas and Alva and Rose Foster, Sacramento, California and a daughter-in-law, Rilla Mangum, Lawton.
