Funeral service for Lucille (Scott) Schenker, 75, Lawton will be 1:30 pm Friday at the Faith Bible Church with Pastor Leonard Reimer, officiating. Mrs. Schenker died Friday in a local hospital. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 pm. She was born August 9, 1935 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Cecil and Alta (Glass) Scott. She married Herbert Schenker in Lawton on May 5, 1957. They were an Army family that moved around the world. He died August 19, 1982. Mrs. Schenker had recently celebrated being on dialysis for twenty five years at her clinic. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Macdonald of Lawton; a son and daughter in law, Robert and Ann Schenker of Lawton; seven grandchildren, Laurie, Connor, Jessica, Philip, Kari, Sandi, and Ashley; five great grandchildren, Caleigh, Kensi, Macy, Allison and Memphis; a brother, Floyd Scott of Dover, Delaware; a sister in law and her husband, Sandy and Artie Landes; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scotty Schenker; a sister, Flossie Holt; and a brother, Bobby Scott.
