Loretta Jean Allee Plunk, aged 86, of Lawton Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas to William Frederick and Esther Lorraine Allee. She married her sweetheart Kenneth Paul Plunk on June 2, 1956. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior under the ministry of her dad William Allee.

She was a devoted wife, mother of five children, and grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking and setting a table before them whether it be brisket, ham, or bologna sandwiches. She loved listening to music and singing in the choir or congregation. She supported and celebrated all her children's accomplishments.

Loretta was an example to her kids of working hard; she encouraged them to go the extra mile in all they do. Over the years she worked at Perry Brothers, Krogers, Safeway, and Sam's Club to help support her family. Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

Loretta served with her husband as he went on to pastor churches in Elk City, OK, Indianapolis IN, Nashville TN, Buffalo NY, Ottumwa IA, Muskogee OK, Sapulpa OK, and Houston TX where they retired. She loved telling people about Jesus. One of her favorite things to do was to go on visitation - many people throughout the years can attribute their salvation to Loretta knocking on their door, inviting them to church, and not giving up on them. She was attentive to the needs of others and was considered to be a prayer warrior by many.

Even through the last few years of caring for her husband Kenneth, she was an encouragement to people in their church and in the Morada Assisted Living where they lived.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Plunk, her parents William and Lorraine Allee, her brother Billy Allee, and her sister Patty Stell.

She is survived by her brother Larry Allee and his wife Becky, son Paul Plunk and his wife Karen, son John Plunk and his wife Cynthia, daughter Sharon Gloden and her husband Melvin, son Andy Plunk and his wife Marie, and daughter Rebekah Sisco and her husband David. Other family members include her grandchildren Autumn Collins and her husband Andrew, Brittany Griffin and her husband Caleb, Kendall Plunk, Journey Parton, Andria Plunk, Melanie Dipprey and her husband Jason, Melissa Blundell and her husband Brad, Danielle Self and her husband Phillip, Megan Plunk, Philip Plunk, David Sisco, Abigail LaFave and her husband Chris, Jonathan Sisco, and Faith Sisco. Her legacy includes great-grandchildren Ransom Griffin, Havalah Griffin, Lynlee Dipprey, Lacey Dipprey, Landrie Dipprey, Kylie Blundell, Keira Blundell, and Teddy Self. She is also survived by numerous beloved extended family members.

Loretta fought a good fight and she finished her course. We look forward to seeing her again one day! Her Lord said unto her, "Well done, good and faithful servant...enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Matthew 25:23
