Funeral service for Loretta Mae Martin will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Kip Ackley, Calvary Temple Church, Cyril, officiating.

Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Loretta Mae Martin died Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 83. She was born July 10, 1939 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Jesse Ray and Ruth (Morris) Dawdy.

Mrs. Martin grew up and attended school in Anadarko. She married James A. Martin on November 3, 1955 in Agawam, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2013. Following her marriage she moved to Cement, Oklahoma. She worked as a home health provider for over 30 years and operated a firecracker stand for many years. She loved helping the elderly, going on camping trips, spending time with family and kids, puzzles, quilting, word find, dominoes, watching westerns and old game shows, traveling to Branson with family and spa days with granddaughters. She also enjoyed gardening and canning fruits and vegetables.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ross, Cement; two sons, Jimmy Martin and wife Sabra and Mark Martin and wife Jeannie, all of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren on the way; her sister, Sally Gibson and husband Craig, Cyril; her son-in-law, Clifton Parker, Elk City, Oklahoma; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her parents, husband, a daughter, Rhonda Parker, and two grandchildren, Seth Martin and Justin Martin, preceded her in death.
