Graveside service for Lorena (Rene) Dempsey, 92, Mountain Park will be at 10:00 am Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Joshua Beason, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Mountain Park officiating. Mrs. Dempsey died Friday, September 19, 2014 in a Hobart nursing home. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. She was born July 1, 1922 in Centerville, Oklahoma to David Monroe and Lelia Alma (Brown) Denham. She married Cleve Edward Dempsey on November 30, 1942 in Altus, Oklahoma. He passed away January 29, 1984. Lorena spent most of her life as a caregiver, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain Park. She is survived by her six children, Henry Dempsey and wife Laverne, Mary Ann Grantham and husband Ronnie, Carol Turner and husband Robert, Bonnie Breeze and husband Gary, Cleta Jackson, Helen Harnden and husband Charles, grandchildren: Lisa Pruett and husband Brent, Julie Schultz and husband Rod, Daniel Dempsey and wife Vanessa, Leann Morawski and husband John, David Grantham and wife Shandi, Allen Grantham, Paul Turner and wife Junetta, Christy McPherson and husband Jim, Gary Breeze, Jr., Edward Breeze and wife Pari, Bobby Jackson and wife Trisha, Carrie McNeil and husband Rod, Lori Arite and husband Mike, Mickey Harnden, Kelly Harnden and wife Tina, a brother David Denham and a sister Clara Mitchell. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Wynona, Laverne, Betty Jo and a brother J.W. Denham.
