Funeral service for Loraice Joyner Girdner, 98, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 in First Baptist Church Sterling with Dr. Mark Hall, Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow at Sterling Cemetery.  Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Fletcher.

The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 29 Oliver Street, Sterling, Oklahoma  .

Mrs. Girdner was born to Charles Jenkins and Ruth (Bowen) Joyner on July 11, 1918 in Comanche County, Oklahoma. She passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2016 in Wetumpka, Alabama.  She married Clarence R. Girdner on December 22, 1934 in Denton, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on October 6, 1999.

Mrs. Girdner is survived by her children, Richard Girdner and wife Martha, Becki Cumbie and husband Richard, and Regina Girdner, grandchildren, Scott Williams, Shelley O'Dell and husband Tim, Staci Santos and husband David, Keith Girdner, Jenny Biggs and husband Jim, Jill Sanford and husband Denny, Haley Cumbie, Jeremy Cumbie and wife Julia and Michael Cumbie, ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter and son in-law, Clara Ann Williams and John C. Williams.
