Celebration of the life of Lola Pearl (Ditty) Jackson, 87, Nashville, TN, will be at 1:30 pm Friday, August 2, 2013 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Sharp, Grapevine, TX officiating. Mrs. Jackson passed away on July 27, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. * The family will greet friends Thursday afternoon at the funeral home from 3pm until 5pm * Lola Pearl Branscum was born May 31, 1926 in Hammond, Oklahoma to Claude G. and Stella Mae (Tippens) Branscum. She married Kenneth Jackson on December 24, 1944 in Cache, OK. They lived in Lawton until January of 2012 when they moved to Nashville to be with their daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Jimmie and family. They were married 68 years until he went to be with the Lord on March 1 of this year. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. During her life she was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid bowler and bowled for many years in leagues at Thunderbird Lanes. She loved to cook, and cooked for lots of family and friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jimmie Carter of Nashville, TN, granddaughter and husband, Dawn and Robert Doak, also of Nashville, TN, grandson and wife Dane and Heather Carter of Las Vegas, NV, her only great grandchild and namesake, Lola Carter of Las Vegas, NV, two brothers and their wives, Claude & Sue Branscum of Geronimo, OK and Jim and Sheryl Branscum of Lawton, OK.
