Age 95, Richardson, Texas - Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Saturday in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder. Mrs. Worthington died Monday in a Dallas hospital. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder. The family will greet friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6:30pm until 7:30pm. She was born December 30, 1914 in Ireton, Oklahoma. She moved to Chickasha in 1917, and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1933. She married Walter Parker (Friday) Worthington in 1935. He died in 1956. She moved to Texas in 1968 and was living in Richardson at the time of her death. She was retired from Eckerd Drug Company, and was a member of the Eastern Star for fifty years, in which she was past Worthy Matron. She is survived by two sons, Eddie Lee Worthington and his wife Teddy of Lawton, Charles Dale Worthington and his wife Margaret of Richardson, TX, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Ronald Gene in 1937 and one grandchild.
