Age 44, Boise, Idaho - Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2008, in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Lisa passed away at her home in Boise, Idaho on June 20 after a long illness. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 25, 1964, to Lawrence and Anne Bressman. She went to school in Lawton before moving with her family to the Elgin School District. She graduated from Elgin High School where she enjoyed basketball and cheerleading. She then went on to Western Oklahoma State in Altus on a Basketball Scholarship. After completing her two years, she attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, also on a Basketball Scholarship, where she received both her Bachelors and Masters Degree. She then went to the University of Kentucky where she began her Doctorial studies and became the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Lisa moved to Colorado to become an Assistant Coach at Colorado State University, before taking on the Head Coach and Athletic Director at Colorado Christian University for 8 years. For the last 5 years, Lisa has worked for Boise State University as Senior Associate Athletic Director and Senior Women's Administrator. She is survived by her husband, Corky, Boise, Idaho, her parents, Lawrence and Anne Bressman, Lawton, her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Patricia Bressman, Nashville, Tennessee, brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Mitzi Bressman, Lawton, and sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Daniel Taylor, Lawton. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a visitation Thursday evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Becker Funeral Home.
