Linda H. Smith passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. Linda was born on October 7, 1947, to Richard and Helen Lewis in Fairview Ohio. She was raised in Bay Village, Ohio. Her mother died when she was nine after a car accident. Her father later remarried and they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1964 she moved to Lawton, Oklahoma to live with her sister Carol where she attended and graduated from Lawton High School. She married the love of her life Ronnie Smith in January 1965, and they established a home in Sterling, Oklahoma where their children went to school. Linda worked in civil service for about 15 years and during that time she also went to work for Parks Jones Realty where she earned her Real Estate and Broker License. Later she left civil service and opened her own rental company called Rent A Home in Lawton for 8 years. She then worked as the Business Manager for the Field Artillery Museum Association for 14 years and ran the Redleg Sutler in Snow Hall and the Old Post Corral Gift Shop. After 9-11 it was hard to get tourists on post and they had to close. Linda then went back to work in civil service and went to work in the Housing Division and was over Furnishing Management within the barracks for several years. Linda enjoyed her family and loved doing anything with them - they were her life. She was the best Wife, Mom, Nana and Friend, and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband Ronnie, daughters Sherri and husband Todd Robertson, Connie and husband Kelly Walker, and son Jason Parks, and grandchildren Jenifer and husband Casey Brown, Landon Walker, Tanner and Jenny Walker, Zach and Bre Walker; great-grandchildren Macin, Peyton, Landry and Sutton Brown, Lane, Rosemary, Roman, and Violet Walker.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol Noe and Special Friend Idabel Gill.
