Linda Jarvis was born on December 18, 1960 in Munich, Germany to parents Ester Penn-Torres and Rafael Torres-Martinez. She had a long career in the civil service and was a force of nature throughout her career and life. Everyone that knew Linda would describe her as vibrant, loud, extremely loyal and loved fiercely. Linda prided herself on teaching those most important to her the value of independence, chocolate, coffee and laughing.

She loved gardening and drinking her coffee in the peaceful sounds of nature on her back porch. Linda had a unique sense of humor and some of her favorite cinematic classics included The Fast and the Furious franchise, Coneheads, Waterworld and Nacho Libre. While at home on November 5, 2023, Linda passed away peacefully. She is survived by a wonderful family and her lifelong friends that loved and supported her throughout her entire life. She now joins the arms of her parents, grandparents, and other lifelong friends that preceded her in death.
