Age 74, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Monday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Willoughby, Associate Pastor and Gerald Green, Assistant Chaplain of the Lawton-Fort Sill Veteran's Center officiating. Mrs. McQuiston died Monday at her residence in Lawton. Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born August 10, 1933 in Russellville, Arkansas to H. Scott and Eva (Evants) Smith. She married Harold J. McQuiston on April 14, 1960 in Russellville, Arkansas. He died January 20, 2004. She was involved with Friendship International, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lawton. Survivors include her daughter Ginny Sahler of Medicine Park, OK, sister Walcie Rhea Kirkpatrick of Oregon, IL, cousin Yvonne Adkisson of London, AR, three grandchildren, Dayna Davidson of Lawton, OK, Alexandra Martin of Highland, IL, Maximilian Sahler of Medicine Park, OK, and four great grandchildren, Brayden Davidson, Nathen Davidson, Nicholas Meffert and Victoria Meffert. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael McQuiston and two sisters, Virginia McClain and Pauline Whorton.
