Leslie Michele (Thomas) Flanagan was born on September 10th, 1963, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to G.M "Mike" Thomas and Barbara June (Smith) Thomas. Leslie Michele Flanagan earned her wings and eternal life, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Leslie Michele (Thomas) Flanagan was raised in Temple, Oklahoma graduating from Temple High School in 1981. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 1989, Leslie Michele Flanagan opened Chez Michele, her boutique, in Lawton. In 1992, Leslie began her wonderful thirty-two-year career at Ft. Sill, by supporting soldiers and their families in the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation division. She was instrumental in the development of Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area and coordinating annual 4th of July concerts for the community. She loved her MWR team and the mission that it represented. After retiring, she was determined to see the world, to experience new cultures, and most importantly, make these memories with her two boys.

Leslie Michele Flanagan's unmatched love, kindness, and devotion were clear to everyone who met her. She was a cheerleader, someone who always believed in others, even when they did not believe in themselves. A heart of gold, a spirit of true perseverance, and love that embodies genuine compassion, Leslie Michele Flanagan devoted herself to her family, friends, coworkers, and anyone who needed hope. A beacon of light and joy, the world has not grown darker but now engulfed with your eternal flame.

She was preceded in death by her parents, G.M "Mike" Thomas and Barbara June Thomas.

Loved ones left to remember and cherish her memories are her son Sean and wife Karly Flanagan of Xanten, Germany, son Connor Flanagan of Lawton, Oklahoma; her brother Joseph Thomas and wife Valerie Thomas of Gilbert, Arizona; niece and nephews, Victoria, Michael, and Braedon Thomas of Gilbert, Arizona and several extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for Leslie Michele Flanagan, 61, of Lawton, OK, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 19th, 2025, in the Leslie Powell Gallery with Pastor Christy Clark officiating.
