Graveside service for Leona Faye Thompson, 72, Apache will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Sappington Chapel Cemetery, north of Mountain View. Mrs. Thompson died Friday, December 6, 2013 in Apache. Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born December 28, 1940 in Hobart to Charles A. and Alice L. (Romans) Romines. She married Charles D. Thompson on October 1, 1965 in Frederick. He died January 6, 2010. Survivors include her brother, Charles Ray Romines, Apache, four nephews, Brent Ray Romines, Altus, Randy Romines, Apache, Rance Romines, Carnegie and Brandon Romines, California, two great nephews, Preston Romines, Altus and Dalton Romines, Carnegie and two great nieces, Rachel Romines, Altus and Melissa Romines, Carnegie. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
