Lenora Ann Grant, 75, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home in Lawton.

Lenora was born January 27, 1948 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Walter and Mary (Kirkland) Cox. Lenora graduated from Walters High School in 1966 and continued her education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cameron University in 1977.  She spent most of her life as a Registered Nurse, mostly as a surgery nurse and loved every minute of it.  She was a member of the United States Army where she obtained the rank of Major before retirement.  During her tours, she served in Japan, Bosnia, and Germany as well as spending time in Iraq and Kuwait defending our nation during Desert Storm. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will forever be missed.

Lenora is survived by her four children, two daughters, Johnette E. Tripp (Dickie) and Ann Marie Beaty, two sons, Phillip Grant (Stephanie) and Robert Grant (Katie), twelve grandchildren, Shanna, Parker, Austin, Lindsay, Emily, Zackary, Tristan, Caleb, Micah, Ava Marie, Ethan, and Jack, nine great grandchildren, and two sisters, Sue Noll and Jean Hogan.

Lenora is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Jimmy and Lynn Cox.
