Funeral service for Lena M. King will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Lena M. King, 89, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She was born August 30, 1925 in Germany and grew up in Germany. Upon completion of her education she began work as a nanny until she married MSG (Retired) Earl Henry King on January 31, 1958 in Butzbach, Germany. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2005. Following her marriage she moved to the United States. She was primarily a homemaker but had worked various other jobs including work as a banquet server at the Hotel Lawtonian. She enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by three sons and daughters in law, George and Pat King and Ricky and Debbie King, all of Moore, Oklahoma and Marvin and Tammy King, Tulsa; a daughter in law, Janette King; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Peter Payong, Germany. Her son, Rudy King, a great grandson and a brother, Hermann Payong, preceded her in death.
