Age 66, Lawton - Graveside service will be at 10:00 am Monday at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin with Rev. Steve Jordan, Associate Minister, New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lawton officiating. Mr. Stewart died Friday in a Lawton hospital. Burial with military honors will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. *** THE FAMILY WILL GREET FRIENDS SUNDAY EVENING FROM 6PM UNTIL 8PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. *** He was born November 5, 1940 in Ross, Ohio to Woodrow Wilson and Alice Mae (Davis) Stewart. He was a veteran, having served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was retired from civil service. He married Doris Carr on September 1, 1984 in Lawton. Survivors include his wife of the home, children, Scott Stewart of Ross, OH, Robin Stewart of Ross, OH, Warren Stewart of Anadarko, OK, Linda Jeffries, Decatur, AL, Vickie Stine, Elgin, OK, Cheryl Stevenson, Lawton, OK, Mary Jane White, Ozark, AL, Glenda Henderson, Searcy, AR, Robert Carr, Lawton, OK, Charles Stewart, Apache, OK, Clarence Stewart, Lawton, OK, two brothers, Don Stewart of Cincinnati, OH, Ron Stewart, Santa Cruz, NM, Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his three sons, Larry Dale Stewart, Larry Woodrow Stewart, Jr. and Richard Warren Carr.
