A memorial service for Lana Irene Pelt Carlton, 46, Elgin, is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Moore, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Altus, officiating. Additionally, a memorial will be held on February 18, 2015, 2 pm, St. Paul's Methodist Church, Boise City, Oklahoma. Also, a memorial celebration of Lana's life will be held on February 21, 2015, in Midlothian, Texas. Details for the celebration will be announced soon. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lana's life at the service of their choosing. Lana Irene Pelt Carlton died unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident on January 18, 2015 in Boise City, Oklahoma. Lana was born on October 3, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Midlothian High School in 1986, attended Texas A&M University, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern State University in 2005. Lana is survived by her husband Bruce Carlton; parents, Phillip and Doris Pelt; children, Gabriel Tanedooah Griego, Alice Faith Griego, and Hannah Grace Griego, step daughters Katherine "Casey" Cole Carlton and Casey Wyatt; brother Jeffery Pelt, sister Karen Pelt Roberts and her husband Bryan; step granddaughters Rylee and Abby; nephew Justin Pelt and wife Bobi, niece Brandi Pelt, nephew Coby Pelt, nephew Elijah Roberts; great nieces Isabella, Samantha and Kaylee Pelt, and great nephew Jordan Pelt.
