Age 90, Snyder, will be at 2:00 pm Friday in the Snyder Assembly of God with Rev. Bradford Cosway, Pastor and Dr. Robin Henson, Grandson, Valley View, Texas officiating. Mrs. Parnell died Tuesday in a Frederick hospital. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. *** Family will greet friends Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home. *** She was born March 21, 1917 in Big Cedar, Oklahoma to William Riley and Ella (Whitehead) Green. She married Artie Theodore Parnell on October 13, 1932 in Mena, Arkansas. He died April 13, 1969. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Snyder Assembly of God, where she was dedicated to God and her family. Survivors include her eight children, Shirley Wagoner of Sadler, TX, Glenn Parnell and wife Christy of Orland, CA, Roxella Page and husband Gerald of Smithsville, OK, Bonnie Sue Shelton of Pottsboro, TX, Larry Parnell and wife Christi of Newalla, OK, Carolyn Henson and husband Kenneth of Pottsboro, TX, Rob Parnell of Pottsboro, TX, Gaye Thompson and husband Steve of Snyder, OK, 23 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 children- Naomi Kuehne, Justine Seigler, Dan Parnell and 3 Great Grandchildren.
