Funeral service for Labina Doster will be 1:30 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Palesano officiating.

Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.

Labina Doster, age 82, of Lawton, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Lawton. She was born August 21st, 1933 in Collins, Georgia to G.W. Humphries, Sr., and Elizabeth Hazel Humphries. She was a 1950 graduate of Lyons High School in Lyons, Georgia. She married Hansell "Ed" Doster, a soldier, in Montgomery, Alabama, on April 20, 1957. During his military career, they lived in posts at Ft. Bliss, TX; Ft. Sill, Ok; Darmstadt, Germany; Hanau, Germany; and Ft. Lewis, WA. In 1968, they moved to Ft. Sill for a second tour and then moved to Lawton upon SGM Doster's retirement in 1970. She enjoyed serving the Lord and helping people. Her cheerful spirit and generosity will be missed by her family, friends and many who benefited from her kindness over the years. Her family is thankful that she never lost her natural cheerfulness even though she suffered from dementia in the last years of her life. She was very fond of the staff at The Chateau who cared for her.

She is survived by her son Gilbert of Lawton; her son Ed, his wife Ginger, and her beloved grandchildren Danny, Tommy and Casey of Ashburn, VA.
