Graveside service for former Lawton resident, Kerry Dee Choat, 66, Bakersfield, California will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Kerry departed his life on Saturday, January 17, 2015 to join his son Matthew. At his bedside were his loyal and dedicated wife of thirty-four years, Alice and family members. Burial with military honors will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. He was a dedicated teacher who always wanted the most for his students. Mr. Choat served in the U.S. Navy. He leaves his cherished and loved wife, Alice Choat, daughters, Elizabeth and Candy; sons, Eric and Aaron; grandchildren, Haleigh, Breanna, Parker, Kendall, David, Lorelei, Cadence and Andrew; sons-in-law, Darrell and Michael; daughters-in-law, Kathy and Tiffany and his close neighborhood friends and co-workers.
