Graveside service for Kenneth E. Smart will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Kenneth E. Smart, age 73, of Lawton, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 in Lawton.  He was born June 2, 1950 in Lawton to James W. and Betty (Bronner) Smart.  He married Samara Tilghman on January 24, 1969 in Lawton.  Kenneth attended Lawton High School.  He had worked for Hunt Masonry and was a mechanic at Midas Muffler until 1995.  He was a jack of all trades and a master of some.  He enjoyed working on race cars.  Kenneth gave his life to the Lord on September 9, 2020.

Survivors include his wife, Samara, of the home, daughter, Beki Sellers and her husband, Rick, Lawton, granddaughter, Lauren Whitmore, grandson, Brandon Sellers, great grandchildren, Maddyson Whitmore and Cole Whitmore, special family, Kevin and Misty Tilghman and their daughter, Kimberly and Brett Burk and their children, Lacy and Blake, Tom King, Bobby King and Aubrey Smart.  He is also survived by three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Elbert and Laura Tilghman, Fletcher and Betty Tilghman and Stephen and Laronda Tilghman, sister, Marsha Pendley and her husband, Link and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Bronner, son, Scotty Smart, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elwane and Effie Tilghman, three sisters, Karen King, Ruth Taylor and Sandy Rios and a special friend, Vickie Snider.
