Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelsey Victoria Wells, age 34. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Lawton First Assembly's Garden Room, 2201 NW 82nd Street, Lawton, OK 73505. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory.

Kelsey Victoria Wells was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, protective big sister, a loving mother, and a loyal friend. She was born on November 21, 1991, and passed away on March 11, 2026, leaving a void that can never be filled.

She lived her life in Lawton, Oklahoma, graduating from Eisenhower High School and attending Cameron University. She changed careers and decided to attend beautician school to become a barber. As a talented barber, she was known for her meticulous skill and her ability to turn every client into a friend. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Kelsey fought with courage and grace. Her diagnosis led to a career change from barber to the medical field, reflecting her evolving heart and her deep-seated drive to provide for those in need . Her ingenious spirit was evident in the "Kelsey-made" gifts she showered on those she loved, from intricate gift baskets to custom clothing, or just finding the perfect gift. Kelsey's life was a testament to unwavering love; she gave herself freely, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength and courage that will be missed by all who knew her. She possessed a rare and selfless loyalty, offering the full measure of her heart even when it wasn't returned in kind.

Kelsey is preceded in death by her daughter Hadley.

She is survived by her loving children, Harper and Trevor; her parents, Carolyn and Trevor; her siblings, Maria, Brandon, Catrina, Gabriel, Cesar, and Brody; her aunt and uncle, Christy and Kevin; grandparents, Donna, Gary, and Lauranette; along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Her greatest legacy is found in her children, to whom she offered the truth of God's abundant grace, leaving Harper her resilience and Trevor her heart. She is no longer defined by the hardships of her journey, but by the righteousness of Christ and the healing found in His words: "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace." While we wish we could have kept her forever, we find comfort in knowing she was always the Lord's. Kelsey is finally home, resting in the full and perfect peace of Jesus.
