Funeral service for Kelly Mitchell Blake, 48, Lawton, will be 2:00 pm Thursday in the Becker Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Dawson, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Blake died Friday at his home. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born February 21, 1963 in Lawton to Roy M. "Sonny" and Evon (Collins) Blake. Kelly served in the Army from 1981-1985. He was employed by the City of Lawton as a diesel mechanic from 1985 till 2004. Survivors include five children, Joshua Blake, Kari Blake, Amber and her husband Manuel Martinez, Joseph Hall and Christopher Hall all of Lawton; seven grandchildren, Tessa, Emily, Alex, Christopher, Joshua Jr., Victor and Miguel; his parents, Sonny and Evon Blake of Lawton; a brother, Jimmie Blake Sr.; two nephews, Robbie Boucher and his fiancée Amber and Jimmie Blake II; two nieces, Danielle Klein and De'Anne Rodriguez and her husband Ishmael; a great niece, Alexxiss; a great nephew, Robbie II; a friend, Doris Howell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
