Funeral service for Kay S. Perry, 54, Lawton, will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Bill Schneider, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Perry died Tuesday at her home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Kay was born October 15, 1956 in Frankfurt, Germany to Eldon and Norma (Malchow) Knutson. She graduated from Eisenhower High School with the class of 1974. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma, College of Nursing in 1980. She married Dale Perry on August 9, 1980 in Lawton. Kay was passionate about being a nurse and loved her job. She retired after 32 years at Comanche County Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She loved animals, reading and helping others in need. She recently received her first iPhone and enjoyed facebooking with family and friends. Kay was an avid University of Oklahoma fan even though she could not watch the game because of the suspense. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons and their wives, Adam and Whitney Nance Perry, Lawton and Chad and Tasha Perry, Guymon, Oklahoma; a daughter, Emily Perry, Lawton; family members, Yuriko Perry, Mike and Juanita Ruiz and Gabriel, Paul Bailey and Carrol Perry, Hans and Joyce Laugisch, Andrea, Lindsey, CJ, Mark and Bonnie Downing, Mike and Brandie Knutson, Nick Knutson, Billy Knutson, Alley Knutson and William Knutson Jr.; and many other family and friends.
