Funeral services for Kathryn Sue Gardner will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at The Church of God in Lawton, Oklahoma with Rev. Ronnie Howard, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Kathryn Sue Gardner was born on December 24, 1948, to Joe Clayton and Allene Clayton (York) in Comanche, Oklahoma. She passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 75. On June 26, 1965, Kathryn married the love of her life, James Curtis Gardner. James preceded her in death in May of 2022, just short of their 57th anniversary.

Kathryn was a full-time mother who loved and cherished each of her children. She enjoyed spending time crocheting and sewing. Most importantly, she was a proud member of The Church of God.

Kathryn is survived by her sons, Curtis Garnder and wife Cathleen and Dominic Weller; her daughters, Karen Love and husband Jeromy and Cheryl Baquera and husband Julian; foster daughter, Richa Gill; seven grandchildren, Casey Love and wife Kelsey, Dakota Love, Steven Love, Sebastian Baquera, Cheveyo Baquera, Rhiannon Gardner, and Merrick Gardner; five great-grandchildren, Lee, Maze, Safie, Chase, Aria; and one brother, Ray Clayton and wife Judy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her five sisters.
