Word has been received of the death of Karin Ring, 66, Lawton. Mrs. Ring died Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born September 23, 1947 in Wiesbaden-Igstadt, Germany to Paul and Auguste (Andel) Grun. She grew up in Germany and moved to the United States when she was thirty one. She married William Joseph Ring in 1988 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mrs. Ring ran multiple restaurants in the Lawton area and then became a truck driver. You are gone from our eyes but will forever be in our hearts. She will be missed by all who loved her. Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Michi Hubbard, Lawton, two sons, J.D. Meyer and his wife Janet, Tulsa and Joseph Neal Ring, Houston, three grandchildren, Thomas Schwarz, Oklahoma City, Jessica Lambert and her husband Nick, Illinois and James Hubbard, Lawton, a great granddaughter, Shannon Lambert, Illinois, sister, Meta Draap, three brothers, Wilfred Grun Manfred Grun and Heinz Grun, a niece, Sylvia Meyer and her husband Dieter, all of Germany and best friends, Marty and Charlie Murray, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
