Age 79, Fletcher - Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Fletcher, with Rev. Rodney Campbell, Pastor, and Gary Canfield, Minister of Music, officiating. Mrs. Thomas died Sunday in a Lawton care center. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (Formerly Robbins Funeral Home). The family will greet friends from 4-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born December 28, 1928 in Elgin, to Floyd and Verna (Deuson) Herndon. She moved to Fletcher as a young girl and was a graduate of Fletcher High School. She married James N. Thomas on February 9, 1946 in Fletcher. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fletcher. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Ron and Tracy Thomas, Edmond; a daughter and son in law, Alisha and Farrin White, Fletcher; three grandchildren, Heidi Kendall and husband Jared and Colby White, all of Fletcher, and Nathan Thomas, Edmond; three great grandchildren, Conner, Claire and Colin Kendall, all of Fletcher.
