Graveside funeral service for June Metcalf will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.   The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.   June Metcalf, age 84, died Friday, December 11, 2015 in Lawton. She was born June 28, 1931 in Hodgens, Oklahoma to Walter Raleigh Sexton, Sr. and Bessie Marie (Davidson) Sexton. She grew up in Heavener, Oklahoma and was a 1950 graduate of Heavener High School. She married Kenneth L. Metcalf on November 10, 1951 in Waldron, Arkansas.   June worked several places until the birth of her children. She then became a homemaker and dedicated herself to raising her daughters. She later worked several years for the Comanche County Assessor's Office. June was active at the New Post Chapel at Fort Sill. She was a recipient of the Molly Pitcher award. She was a member and past president of the NCO Wives Club, involved with the retired Sergeant Major's Club, volunteered at the Post Thrift Shop and enjoyed arts and crafts.   She is survived by her husband, of the home; two daughters, Joyce A. Chappell, Wichita Falls and Lisa M. France and husband Kevin J., Republic, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brandi L. Walker, Sarah K. Walker, Kenneth R. France, Thomas D. France and Daniel Campbell; eight great grandchildren including Madison P. Smith, Ryan A. McAlmond and Shelby, Hannah and Megan Tidwell; three brothers, Donald Sexton, Jerry Sexton and wife Jeanne and Raleigh Sexton, Jr. and wife Linda; numerous nieces and nephews.   Her parents, a brother, A. David Sexton and a son in law, James A. Chappell, Jr., preceded her in death.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Lung Association, 730 W.
