Funeral for Juanita McDonald, 82, Lawton will be at 1:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Miller officiating. Mrs. McDonald died Monday, June 23, 2014 in Lawton. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Juanita was born May 9, 1932 to Henry & Eunice Lopes in Post Oak, Texas. She grew up and attended McKinley Elementary & Lawton High School graduating in May 1949. She worked for Kress' while in high school and then SW Bell Telephone Company 1949-1951. She went to work for the Retail Merchants Association in 1965 and retired in 1995 after 30 years. She met Tilson McDonald in 1947 at Doe Doe Park Skating Rink and married May 1, 1950. Having been military they traveled many places making their home in Lawton since 1965. She enjoyed reading, watching baseball & spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She is survived by three sons & their wives; Richard McDonald, Lawton, David & Mary McDonald, Henry & Jennifer McDonald, Allen, TX, one daughter & son-in-law, Teressa & Paul Looper, Lawton, ten grandsons & their wives; Ryan McDonald, Tulsa, Jeff McDonald, Korea, Justin & Mary McDonald, Devin McDonald, Brian & Natalie Looper, Brett & Melanie Looper & Barton McDonald all of Lawton, Matthew McDonald and girlfriend, Nicole Seabrook, Oklahoma City, Trey & Alex McDonald, Allen TX, one granddaughter, 2LT Kelly Carey, Lawton and six great grandchildren; Kennedy Bryan, Kaleb Looper, Landon Looper, Portia McDonald, Charlie McDonald & Lauren McDonald. She is also survived by a brother, Vendle Ray Lopes; three nieces & one nephew and several great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Larry McDonald, sister-in-law, Margaret Lopes & nephew, Steven Lopes.
