Age 84, Mountain Park - Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Wednesday in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Rev. Gary D. Usher, Pastor of the Rose Assembly of God, Mangum, officiating. Mrs. Barfield died Sunday in a Snyder Nursing Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. Juanita was born to Otis and Mae Self in Lawton on January 27, 1924. She attended Hillside School. She married Thurman Harrold on April 5, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1983. They settled in Mountain Park in September of 1970. Juanita was a homemaker and worked through DHS as a caregiver for a number of years. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church for many years before her health kept her from attending. She has been a resident of Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder since February of 2003. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Harrold, Sr of Mountain Park, Cynthia Harrold of Mountain Park, Troy Don Harrold, Sr and Linda of Sentinel, OK, Ronnie Harrold and Vickey of Sayre, OK, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Pauline Edwards of Apache, OK and Christine Hewett and husband Conrad of Slatington, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Arnold Harrold, grandson Clint Harrold, daughter-in-law Clara Harrold, two brothers, Olin and Buster Self and two sisters, Ruby Coley and Thelma Rath.
