Juan Quezada, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Juan was born in El Placer de Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico on June 24, 1946, to Manuel Quezada and Maria Soledad Calderon. At the age of 15, he migrated to the United States, beginning a life filled with hard work, family, and many lasting friendships. He came from a family of six and eventually married the love of his life, Guadalupe Quezada with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Over the years, Juan lived in Frederick and Hedrick before settling in Snyder in 1982. Snyder was where he built a life and became a familiar and cherished part of the community.
Juan worked all his life and, after retirement, enjoyed traveling back to Mexico and spending time enjoying the things he loved. He was a ranch hand for many years and enjoyed roping and bull riding. He also loved music and dancing.
Juan never met a stranger. He was always willing to visit with anyone and was known for his wisdom, kindness, and willingness to offer advice to those who needed it. His stories, conversations, laughter, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Juan is survived by his loving wife of 44 years and his daughter, along with extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
An online guest book and sympathy cards are available at www.beckerfuneral.com.
Juan will be remembered for his hardworking nature, love of family, appreciation for life, and the way he could make a friend wherever he went. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
