Memorial service for Joyce L. DeGagne will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Lawton Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Terrell-Wilkes, Pastor officiating.

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Joyce L. DeGagne, age 83, Lawton, died Monday, October 30, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born March 30, 1934 in Syracuse, New York to James Ellis and Dora (Rudd) Whitson.  She grew up in Marcellus, New York and graduated from Marcellus Central High School.  Joyce was married to Richard Vidler and they later divorced.  She then married Ralph Stocker who preceded her in death and then married Eugene DeGagne who also preceded her in death.

Joyce worked many years as a secretary for Carrier Industries.  She moved to Lawton in 2010 from Colorado to be near family.  She was a member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church and the Sweet Adeline's.  She loved music and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Vidler and wife Darcy, California, and Pamela Vidler-Pruitt and husband Kent, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Sebastian, Byron, Kayla and Logan; her brother and sister in law, Norm and Bobbi Whitson, Lawton; two sisters, Leila Austin and Marilyn Powell, both of New York; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Her parents, brothers, James and Ronnie Whitson, sisters, Beatrice Nebbia, Eloise Curtis, Audrey Riggall and Penny Graham, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the MacArthur High School Music Program or to the Nora O'Neal Adult Day Care.
