Graveside service for Joseph Self will be at 11:00 am Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Paradise Valley Cemetery, North of Lawton with Dewayne "Tuffy" Wilcox, Apache, Oklahoma officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 12pm until 4pm at the funeral home.

Joseph Self, 58, Lawton, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his home.  He was born August 4, 1960 in Lawton to Olen and Macel Loretta (Hooper) Self.  Joseph worked for Dolese for 35 years, lastly as an assistant superintendent.  He married Diane Rowell on January 23, 2014 in Lawton.  He loved to fish and golf.

Survivors include his wife Diane (Rowell) Self of the home, his son Chris Self and Amanda of Apache, Oklahoma, step-children; Eric Dominguez and Marissa of Lawton, David Mendez and Nam of Australia, Edik Dominguez and Annie of Sparks, Nevada, grandchildren; Joseph, Ryland, Alyssa, Cameron, Aubrey, Eden, Aiden, Stella, Taylor, Ragen, his siblings; Donna Cummins and Glen of Elgin, Oklahoma, Gayle Ferguson and Mike of Apache, Oklahoma, Keith Self and Barbara of Fletcher, Oklahoma and his sister-in-law Helen Self of Elgin, Oklahoma.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers; Danny and Gary Self.
