Funeral Mass for Jorge Zapata Garcia will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 2021 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Seeton, Pastor officiating.

Jorge Zapata Garcia died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 64.

He was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Mateo, Texcalyacac. In March 1997, he moved to Amarillo, TX. He and his wife (Juana) moved to Lawton, OK, in 2010. Jorge and his wife worked and enjoyed every moment of their life together. Jorge was a hardworking man, dedicated to everything he did, responsible for his children and his wife. Attentive to all the people around him.

The Christmas season was always his favorite time of the year. Jorge enjoyed decorating his house with many decorations and two Christmas trees, one for his wife and one for him. Jorge loved to listen to Mariachi music. The Beatles was his favorite group. He always wanted to return to his town of Texcalyacac to spend the festivities with his family.

Jorge was very responsible and loving to his wife. He loved his wife and enjoyed every afternoon after work accompanying the love of his life, his wife.

Jorge loved and cared for his family with all his heart. He was compassionate and cared for everyone. Jorge was the most wonderful and exemplary father, husband, and son. He loved and enjoyed every moment with his family.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Jorge Zapata Silva and wife Carlota of Texcalyacac, Mexico and Neftali Zapata Silva, Lawton, Oklahoma; a daughter, Lucy Martin and husband William, Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Frida Zapata Valdez and Jorge Zapata Valdez; three brothers, Guillermo Zapata Garcia and wife Margarita, Salvador Zapata Garcia and wife Cecilia and Isaac Zapata Garcia and wife Fanni, al of Mexico; his sister, Veronica Zapata Garcia and husband Aron, Mexico; and other cousins, nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.

Jorge Zapata García nació en la ciudad de México y creció en San Mateo Texcalyacac. En marzo de 1997 él se mudo a Amarillo, TX. Él y su esposa (Juana) se mudaron a Lawton OK en 2010. Jorge y su esposa trabajaban y disfrutaban juntos cada momento de su vida. El fue un hombre trabajador, dedicado a todo lo que hacía, responsable con sus hijos y su esposa. Atento a todas las personas que lo rodeaban.

La época navideña fue siempre su época favorita del año. Jorge disfrutaba decorar su casa con muchos adornos y dos árboles de Navidad uno para su esposa y otro para él. Jorge le encantaba escuchar música de Mariachi y los Beatles fue su grupo favorito; siempre soño regresar a su pueblo de Texcalyacac para pasar las fiestas en compañía de su familia.

Jorge fue muy responsable y cariñoso con su esposa. Amaba a su esposa y disfrutaba todas las tardes después del trabajo estar acompañando al amor de su vida su Esposa Juana.

Jorge amaba y se preocupaba por su familia con todo su corazón. El fue compasivo y se preocupaba por todos. Jorge fue el padre, esposo e hijo mas maravilloso y ejemplar. El amaba y disfrutaba cada momento con su familia.
