Memorial service for former Lawton resident Jon D. Williams, 49, Uniontown, Ohio will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2013 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Billy Harmon officiating. Mr. Williams died Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Uniontown. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. He was born November 29, 1963 in Lawton to Earl and Vanita (Fowler) Williams. He attended Lawton Public Schools and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1982. He received a master's degree in Quality Assurance. He married Sissy Smith on September 28, 2012 in Lawton. Mr. Williams had been employed at the Lawton Goodyear Plant for twenty five years and was transferred in March of this year to the Goodyear Plant in Akron, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, of the home, five children, Ryan Williams, Lawton, Jake Williams, Oklahoma City, Kate Williams-Mallett and her husband Ryan, Cache and their mother, Cindy Williams, Lawton and Blaine RedElk and Summer Smith, both of Lawton, a grandson, Carson Mallett, Cache, mother,Vanita Smith, Coyle, Oklahoma, maternal grandmother, Mozell Fowler Cotton, Lawton and brother, Ross Williams, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandfather, J. D. Fowler.
