Graveside service for Johnny T. Lampkins, Sr. will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin with Chaplain Mike Shklar, Lawton/Fort Sill Veterans Center officiating.

Burial with military honors will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Johnny T. Lampkins, Sr. age 77, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Lawton.  He was born October 8, 1945 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Louis Lloyd "Jack" Lampkins(who lived to be 102) and Mildred (Legett) "Mickey" Lampkins Hitt. Johnny grew up in Lawton graduating from Lawton High School in 1965. He was known to many friends in Lawton as a great football player in high school. After high school, Johnny joined the United States Air Force and served with honor. Following Johnny's honorable discharge from the Air Force, he was employed as a truck driver for Allied Van Lines in Lawton. He was a loving, wonderful man who will be missed forever and always.

Johnny leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Ann Lampkins of the home, son, John T. Lampkins, Jr., daughter, Nichole Lewis, brother, Skip Lampkins and wife Carol, all of Lawton, Oklahoma, stepmother, Alma Lampkins of Gentry, Arkansas, nephew, Donnie Lampkins and wife Jennie of Florida.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
