Memorial service for Johnna Kay Rogers, 73 of Lawton will be on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 3 p.m. in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home chapel.

Johnna passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on June 5, 2026. She was born on May 31, 1953 at Clark Air Force Base in Pampanga, Philippines to John Brady Diggs and Lovetta Jo (Morgan)Diggs. Her father was in the Army so the family lived in many areas including the Philippines, Louisiana, and France. After her father passed away the family settled in Lawton. Johnna attended Eisenhower High School and graduated in 1971. She married the love of her life, Jesse L. Rogers, on August 21, 1970 and they remained married until his death in 2015. Johnna was employed in the moving industry most of her adult life working with Jesse and was working for Lawton Moving & Storage when she retired. Johnna was an avid reader and enjoyed painting, sewing and quilting, especially making quilts for her great-granddaughters, Juniper, Amelia, and Isla. She loved to travel and took many trips including trips to England, Scotland, Ireland and the Bahamas. The one thing Johnna would never be without was her Pepsi and she always had an ample supply on hand. Johnna loved going to the casino and would often call it her part-time job. She had a very special place in her heart for her cats, Hela and Buddy. Johnna had a green thumb and could grow just about anything. She was funny, feisty and always appreciated a good joke.  She was always quick to let you know that she came from a long line of strong independent women.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Cox and her fiancée Aaron-Lawton, Sheri Gray-Lawton, Preston Rogers and his wife Jean-West Palm Beach, FL, Terry Rogers and his wife Laurie-Lexington, NC, Johnny Rogers-Lexington, SC; her grandchildren Alex Fox-Meyer and her husband Christopher, Isabella Cox, Terrence Gray and his wife Megan, Jeremy Gray, Jessica Rogers, Joseph Rogers, Johnathon Rogers, Joshua Rogers and Jenna Skipper ; her brothers: Pat Diggs and wife Lisa-Lawton, Charles and wife Mary Ann-Tyler, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-Tim Diggs, sister- Susie McCuiston, and son-in-law Robert Cox.
