Age 51, Mountain Park - Funeral services will be at 10:30am Saturday in the First Baptist Church, Mountain Park with Emmett Hayslip officiating. Mr. Edgar died Wednesday in a Lawton care center. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. *** The Family will greet friends Friday evening from 7pm until 8pm at the funeral home. *** He was born July 29, 1957 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Rodney Franklin and Clara Lavena (Reed) Edgar. He graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1975, were he was involved in basketball and FFA. Before his health failed him he was a truck driver, his last job being with Jennings Trucking Service. Racing and cars were his passion. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain Park. Survivors include his two brothers, Bob and wife Regina Edgar of Mountain Park, Jim and wife Paula Edgar of Carthage, Texas, sister Daisy Birdwell of Mountain Park, aunt Evalina and husband Bill Owen of Oklahoma City, special cousin Kenneth and wife Patti Edgar and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Clara Helen "Tootie" Harrold and his grandmother-Annie Edgar.
