Graveside funeral service for John Peter Campbell, 64, Lawton, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, with Rev. Leonard Presley officiating. Mr. Campbell died Wednesday, March 7, in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. He was born May 25, 1947 in Germany. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School and also attended Cameron University. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for several years and was retired from DFAS at Fort Sill after 26 years and three months of service. He enjoyed fishing and often shared his catch with friends. He is survived by his mother, Liz Campbell, Lawton; a sister and brother in law, Carole Ford Brown and Chris, Wichita Falls, Texas; a nephew, Brett Sherman; a niece, Allison Thompson. His father preceded him in death.
