Jane B. Littleton was born on March 6, 1935; she passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
A private memorial service was held on Mother's Day to celebrate her life. She will be interred at the Golden Gate National Cemetery with her husband and son.
Jane married SSG Henry H. Littleton, who predeceased her. Together, they raised a family that included their son, Harvey (d), and their two children, Chris and Michelle. Jane was a proud grandmother to Mitchell and Raynor, and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Dash, Avi, and Rho.
Jane was nationalized and became a fervent patriot as were her sisters Heidi Marie (d) and Erika (d). Her love for languages extended beyond the classroom; she learned Russian which played a vital role early in her career by translating documents for the State Department.
A passionate educator, Jane taught and was fluent in German, French, and English at Lawton High School. She inspired countless students before her retirement.
The family expresses deep gratitude to Curtis at BancFirst and the compassionate staff at Temple Manor for the exceptional care and support they provided to Jane during her later years. Thanks to Becker- Rabon Funeral Home for their assistance and guidance.
Jane's spirit, kindness, and dedication to her family and students will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She leaves a lasting impact on the lives she touched and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
