Age 47, Mountain Park - Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Sunday in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Emmett Hayslip, Mountain Park officiating. Mr. Hampton graduated to Heaven Saturday at his home in Mountain Park, following a short bout with cancer. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. He was born May 1, 1961 in Altus, Oklahoma to Robert Leon and Emily Elnora (Stafford) Hampton. He attended Mountain Park Schools, was a harvester and a member of the Church of Christ. Joe Fred was a survivor of an automobile accident that left him a quadriplegic for 18 years. He loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his parents of Mountain Park, two brothers, Howard Hampton and his wife Mary of Snyder, OK, Leon Hampton and his wife Peggy of Piedmont, OK, two sisters, Bobbie Liles and husband Larry of Edmond, OK, Tammie Lambert and husband Lance of Mountain Park and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Mountain Park Cemetery Association.
