Jimmy Ed Hall died Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. He was born August 18, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to David and Wanda (Amos) Hall. The family later moved to Lawton, where Jimmy attended school. Following his junior year at Eisenhower High School, he proudly enlisted in the United States Navy.
In his younger years, Jimmy worked alongside his father at Hall's Exxon, located at 53rd Street and Cache Road. He later discovered a natural talent for carpentry and became a skilled trim carpenter. Jimmy went on to operate Hall's Construction with his brother, David, building a reputation for hard work and craftsmanship.
Jimmy was a faithful member of Cameron Baptist Church, where he devoted many years to teaching children's Sunday School. He enjoyed rodeoing and motorcycle racing-participating in his younger years and cheering from the sidelines in later years. He also found pleasure in fishing and attending racing events. Above all, Jimmy's greatest joys were watching his granddaughter play ball and attending the sporting events of the children he taught in Sunday School, celebrating their successes.
He is survived by his son, Justin Hall; grandchildren, Tanner Mindemann and Mialee Hall; a great grandson, Weston; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Peggy Hall; three sisters, Patty Jones and husband Arthur, Nancy McQuaide and Rita Withers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Hall, Sr., his mother, Wanda Almeda Frezon, and a sister, Tina Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawton-Fort Sill Veterans Center, 501 SE Flower Mound Road, Lawton, OK 73501.
